Personio, the leading European HR software firm for SMEs, announced a second close of its Series E funding round, adding $200 million.
The round was led by existing investor Greenoaks, reaffirming support for Personio’s vision to streamline HR processes for European SMEs.
The additional funds bring the total Series E capital raised to $470 million, valuing Personio at $8.5 billion.
Personio pursues People Workflow Automation, having already automated a billion data updates, and recently acquired the company Back.
The company services over 6,000 businesses with more than 500,000 employees across various sectors, focusing on companies with 200 to 2,000 staff.
