OpenPhone has officially become SOC 2 compliant, reinforcing its commitment to data security for its users.

SOC 2 compliance involves a set of criteria for managing customer data based on five trust service principles including security, availability, processing integrity, confidentiality, and privacy.

The compliance was verified through an audit by the third-party auditor, Insight Assurance, ensuring that OpenPhone is securely managing user data.

For continuous security monitoring, OpenPhone added Vanta to its tech stack, offering tools like security training, policy templates, and resources to its employees.

Existing customers don't need to take any action to benefit from this new layer of protection.
