Mixpanel Introduces Anomaly Detection & Root Cause Analysis

Mixpanel has launched new features including Custom Alerts, Anomaly Detection, and Root Cause Analysis to help monitor and diagnose metrics effortlessly.

Anomaly Detection uses the Prophet tool to set thresholds for alerts automatically, while Custom Alerts allows users to set their own thresholds.

Root Cause Analysis automatically generates a report with event properties to investigate causes of metric changes.

Alerts can be received via Slack or email and celebrate not only issues but also positive metric changes, keeping teams motivated.
