Warp has released a new feature that allows users to customize the command line prompt within the Warp terminal for Linux.

The customizable prompt builder enables users to add context chips such as timestamps, working directories, and Git branches without editing config files.

Users can easily edit and rearrange prompt elements using the drag-and-drop interface in Warp's prompt editor.

Custom prompt settings persist and update dynamically across multiple sessions, reflecting real-time changes such as Git branch switching.

Warp is showcasing the new customizable prompts during its 'Why Not? Week' and invites users to share feedback in the Warp community Discord.
