Database branching allows users to create branches from existing databases, with an easy CLI command, increasing the flexibility in handling databases.
Point-in-Time Restore feature enables users to create new databases from a specific moment in a pre-existing database, facilitating data recovery and backups.
Both features cater to all users across various plans. Starter plan users have a 24-hour restoration limit, whereas Scaler plan users can restore up to 30 days. Enterprise Customers get custom retention periods.
Users must update their Turso CLI to version 0.85.3 or above to access these new functionalities.
