On December 9th, 2020, Sanity introduced Advanced Dataset Management features exclusively for enterprise plan projects.
New features include Cloud Clone for automated dataset copying and Dataset Hotswap for easy swapping between datasets without altering frontend code.
Cloud Clone facilitates dataset cloning through a CLI command or HTTP API, removing the need for manual exports and imports.
Hotswap allows developers to create an alias for a dataset and change the referenced dataset instantaneously.
The Sanity CLI has been updated to support these new features, requiring enterprise plan users to upgrade their CLI version.
