Retool Introduces Python Support in Workflows

Retool announced the addition of Python code blocks within Workflows, enhancing data analysis and automation capabilities.

The update includes autocomplete, linting, and over 20 preinstalled libraries such as numpy and pandas, aimed at improving developer productivity.

Python's integration allows for a more versatile toolkit in Retool, enabling complex ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes and reporting.

Workflows can now turn scripts into portable APIs, facilitating cross-team collaboration and eliminating the need for additional infrastructure.

The feature is currently available to all cloud customers with plans to roll out to on-premises installations.
