Railway Introduces Shared Variables Feature

Railway has launched Shared Variables, a feature enhancing secrets management across microservices and monorepo projects.

Shared Variables can be created and managed centrally within Project Settings and shared across multiple services.

Service-level variables can be promoted to Shared Variables, making them accessible project-wide under the shared.* namespace.

Shared Variables can be included in services directly from the service settings, allowing for easier and dynamic referencing.

The feature is now live for all Railway users and further documentation is available for learning more about implementation.
