QStash Launches for Serverless Messaging

QStash, a message queue and task scheduler, designed for serverless runtimes, was announced by Upstash.

It simplifies the communication among serverless functions by offering messaging as a service without the need for users to maintain a backend.

Features include the ability to work anywhere (including serverless and edge), scaling prices to zero, and simplified retries, delays, and scheduling.

QStash comes with a new pricing model at $1 per 100,000 requests, with no fixed minimum payment, encouraging scalability.

The platform allows sending messages to both endpoints and topics, supporting deduplication, request signing, and offers an easy-to-use JS/TS SDK.
