Monzo Introduces Customizable Contactless Limits

Monzo has updated its app to allow customers to set their own contactless spending limits.

Customers can now choose any limit up to £100 for a single tap, and up to £200 for cumulative contactless payments before PIN is required.

This new feature includes the option to entirely disable contactless payments by setting the limit to £0.

The limits set by a user apply to all Monzo cards in their name, but will not affect Apple Pay or Google Pay.

Monzo reinforces their commitment to customer security with instant notifications, in-app card freezing, and support for victims of fraud.
