Chipper has introduced a USD cashout feature for Nigerian users, enabling transfers between Nigeria and the UK & Uganda.
The feature comes in response to the Central Bank of Nigeria's regulatory changes prohibiting payouts in Naira, only allowing USD.
Users can receive cross-border payments in USD, credited to their Chipper USD wallet, and cash out at partner domiciliary banks.
Currently partnered with FCMB, UBA, Zenith Bank, and Wema Bank, with plans to expand the list of partner banks.
The company is working on extending the cashout feature to all operational countries and urges customers to subscribe for updates.
